Lorene Shaver

Mrs. Lorene Shaver, age 90, of Benton died Tuesday, May 10, 2011. She was born September 14, 1920 in Lamar, Arkansas. Lorene was a housewife and a member of Geyer Springs Baptist Church and a member of the Easter Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome E. and Arnie Owens Cromer, three sisters. Survivors, brother and sister-in-law, J. E. Cromer and his wife Carol, Norfork, Arkansas; nephew, Joseph Cromer, niece, Jacquelyn Cromer, three grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday at Bayou Meto Cemetery in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Minister will be Rev. Tom Brock. Online guess book at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
