Linda Ann Slack

Linda Ann Slack, age 71, of Bryant, Arkansas entered into eternal life with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 17, 2011. She was born on December 9, 1939 in Jefferson, Texas to the late Pete and Dorothy Henderson. Linda was a faithful member of Park Place Baptist Church in Bryant, Arkansas where she attended services regularly until her recent illness. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Mastin Slack; two daughters, Jo Anne Hill (Steven) of Conway, Ark. and Dianne Alexander (Kevin) of Claremore, Okla.; one son Mike Slack of Jefferson, Texas; one brother Peter Henderson (Janis) of Jefferson, Texas and one sister Carolyn Jowell of Woodlands, Texas; nine grandchildren who lovingly called her "Mam maw" and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2011 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Ark. (501) 455-1067 with Reverend Bill Phillips and Reverend Gary Lambright officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
