Neva Rose Allbritton

Neva Rose Allbritton, 93, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Allbritton was born Oct. 21, 1917 in Mount Ida, Ark., daughter of the late Oscar and Lela Brown Graham. She was reared and received her early education in Mount Ida. Mrs. Allbritton was a member of Matthews Memorial Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. She retired from Edgewood Elementary School Cafeteria. Mrs. Allbritton was preceded in death by her husband, John William Allbritton; son, Bill Allbritton; parents, Oscar and Lela Graham; brothers, G.L. and Jeff Graham; and sister, Emmy Smith. Survivors include her son, James A. Allbritton of Wilson; two daughters, Nina Sue (Clyde) Ellison and Charlotte (Donnie) Phillips, both of Pine Bluff; two sisters, Marguerite McCaslin and Rosalie (Paul) Roberts of Mount Ida; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Matthews Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend Ray Edmonson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors. Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time at the church.
