Norma Jean Hayes-Blackmon

Norma Jean Hayes-Blackmon, 61, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed Friday, November 11, 2011. She was a faithful member of New Calvary Temple C.O.G.I.C., under the pastoral guidance of Bishop Donne L. Lindsey for over 20 years. Adhering to God's guidance, Norma later united with New Commandment C.O.G.I.C., in Jacksonville, Ark., under the tutelage of her brother, Elder Eddie L. Miller. She served diligently as the head church mother until God required her services in heaven She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Elder James E. Blackmon, sons, James E. Blackmon Jr. and Timothy D. Blackmon; granddaughters, Kristina N., Kaylynn N., Alexia N., parents, Myrtle and Willie B. Miller Sr., eight brothers, six sisters, a host of relatives and friends. Family hour will be held Friday, November 18th, at New Calvary Temple COGIC in North Little Rock, Ark. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the El Dorado Municipal Auditorium. Services are under the direction of Sims Mortuary, El Dorado, Ark.
