Captain Cassandra Dawn Henneberry, 37, of San Antonio, died September 21, 2011 from complications due to cancer. She was a proud member of the United Stated Air Force. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas F. Wood of Benton, Arkansas. She is survived by her loving husband, T. Henneberry; children Dade, 14, and Gillian, 10, of San Antonio Texas; mother Mary Ellen Wood of Benton; sisters Heather Wood and husband James McAlister of Mayflower, Melany Boyd and husband Jerah Boyd of Benton; five nieces and nephews; and many, many friends. Cassie graduated from Benton High School. She then went on to graduate from The University of Central Arkansas, with a bachelor degree in computer science and a minor in mathematics. She was 12 hours away from attaining a master's degree in teaching from The University of Phoenix. She was a member of the Girl Scouts in Little Rock, Pledges, Rainbow (Love #16), Esther Chapter #217 of Eastern Star, The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Honor Guard, and Air Force Members Against Drunk Driving. She loved reading, quilting, sewing, scrap booking, her Mini Cooper, all children, and being an officer in the United States Air Force. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2011, at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home (501) 455-5800 in Little Rock.
