Leonard Terrell

Rev. Leonard Carl Terrell of Norfolk, VA left his earthly vessel on May 23, 2011 and went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born in Portsmouth, Va. in 1954 to Aaron and Delma Terrell (deceased). He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 34 years, Carla Lee Terrell; two daughters, Sarita Terrell and Monica Terrell Jenious (Jorel); two grandsons, Sebastian Terrell Jenious, age 4 and Donovan Xavier Jenious, age 3; father, Aaron Terrell Sr. of Detroit, Mich.; one brother, Aaron Terrell; two sisters, Vivian Terrell of Washington DC and Delma Johnson of Colorado. He will be missed by a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters- in-law, nieces and nephews. He also left a legacy with his church families: The Greater Galilee Baptist Church in Lawton. Okla., the Greater 34th Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock, Ark., which he pastured for several years, and the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where was a faithful member and Associate Minister. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday October 1, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Greater 34th Baptist Church, 911 W. 19th St., Little Rock.
