James Charles Creasey

James "Jim" Charles Creasey, 74, of Greenbrier, formerly of Vilonia, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012. He was born November 2, 1937 in Pinnacle, Arkansas to the late Sebert Wilson Creasey and Almedia Evans Creasey. He was a graduate of Joe T. Robinson High School, a veteran of the United States Air Force, a retired Civil Service employee at the Little Rock Air Force Base and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Conway. He loved the outdoors including hunting and fishing, the Arkansas Razorbacks and a proud supporter of Vilonia football. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Sebert Creasey Jr.; and two sisters, Linda Sue Creasey and Patsy Leggett. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 52 years, Melva Atchison Creasey; daughter, Tammy Hargrove and husband Stan of Greenbrier; two sons, Dean Creasey and wife Carla of Siloam Springs and James Lee Creasey of Little Rock; brother, Billy Joe Creasey of Hot Springs Village; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway (501 )327-7727. Funeral service will be Monday, April 16, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Brother Jason Aultman officiating. Interment will follow in the Republican Cemetery in Greenbrier. Pallbearers will be Fred Daves, Matt Cotton, Richard Creasey, Donnie Creasey, Milton Fine and Nathan Creasey. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Clements, Ronnie Whitten and Dennis Clayton.
