Aquilla Perkins

AQUILLA PERKINS, 74, of Jacksonville, born Feb. 11, 1938 in Little Rock to father, Walter Thomas, and mother, Gertrude Whittaker, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012. She was the founder of Women of Faith Ministries. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gertrude Thomas; three sons; and a daughter. Aquilla is survived by her children, Daphne E. Harris, Bill Alan Chatman, and Dean Anthony Chatman. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Annette Lomack, Rose Batiste, Walstein Walker, and Nathaniel Thomas.
