JUANITA WILLIAMS CLARK "NITA," age 88 years, of Little Rock passed away on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012. Nita was born in Bluefield, W. Va. on June 26, 1924. She grew up in Lexington, Va., attended Madison College in Harrisonburg, Va. and was a dedicated daughter of the "Old Dominion." Nita met the love of her life, Billy Sunday Clark, while he was attending Virginia Military Institute in Lexington. They married in 1944 and were dedicated to one another until Bill died in 2004. Nita and Bill were avid bridge players and enjoyed entertaining friends in their home. Nita was preceded in death by her parents, John Lawson and Gertrude Williams, her husband, Billy Sunday Clark, and a daughter, Beth Bowie. Nita is survived by her son, Andrew L. Clark and his wife, Mindy of Little Rock; her daughter, Pamela Clark Banks of Laguna Beach, Calif.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation Tuesday, Aug. 21 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church of Little Rock or St. Jude's Children's Hospital of Memphis, Tenn.
