Maeola Roaf Jeffers

Sister Maeola Roaf Jeffers, 74, of Pine Bluff was called to rest on August 16, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; Arthur Roaf, Jr., James Nelson, and Dr. Sterling Roaf, Sr. and one sister; Verlean Ellison. She leaves to cherish her memory five children; Michael Jeffers (Ferrell) of Little Rock, Arkansas; Dr. Raymond (Lelita) Jeffers of Germantown, Tennessee; Sharon Jeffers of Huntsville, Alabama; Gerald (Karen) Jeffers of White Hall, Arkansas; and Barrett (Chanelle) Jeffers of Los Angeles, California. Her surviving siblings are Dr. Clifton Roaf and Ophelia Melvin of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Lucille Early of Little Rock, Arkansas; Eddie Jean Ward of Los Angeles, California; and Joetta Edwards of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; one uncle, Julius Boughton; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives. Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Indiana Street MBC by Rev. Brian Castle. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Section of Graceland Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m., with a Family Hour from 5:30-6:30 p.m., at the funeral home. The body will lie in state at the church from 9:15 a.m. until time of service.
