Charles L. Wilson, 80, died December 3, 2012, surrounded by family in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He was born June 20, 1932 in Datto, Arkansas to Joe T. and Lora Wilson. He was one of 13 children. Charles will first and foremost be remembered as a preacher. For over 50 years, he led congregations in Arkansas, Missouri, and Illinois. He also owned and operated a United Real Estate Office in Hardy, Arkansas for several years. Though it's been quite some time since he was able to do so, Charles was an avid coon hunter and loved to take family and friends along on a coon hunt when they came to visit him. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Velma, and his son, Mark. He is survived by his daughters, Deborah (Gordon) Koops, Sherry (Joe) Oliver, and Holli (Travis) Lillard; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by two brothers, Joe G. Wilson and Don Wilson, and one sister, Nancy Allison. Memorials may be made to Children's Home of Paragould.
