Charles Miller

Charles Miller, age 78, of Poyen passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at HSC Medical Center. He was born May 14, 1934, in Poyen, the son of Harry and Chloe Walker Miller. Charles was in the United States Army and member of Poyen Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from Poyen High School, in 1952, with a 4.0 GPA and was Valedictorian of his class. Charles enjoyed deer hunting and gardening. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Keith Miller; sisters, Mary Viola and Dora Sue. Left to cherish his memory, wife, whom he married on March 8, 1959, Helen Miller; son, Michael Miller of Haskell; brother, Johnny Miller (Emmaline) of Little Rock and four grandchildren. Graveside Service will Thursday, December 6, at 10 a.m. at Philadelphia Cemetery with Brother Kevin Spurlin officiating. Arrangements are by Regency Funeral Home.
