Cora Donelle Surratt Wilson, 62, of Maumelle, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 3, 2012. She was born August 27, 1950 in England, Arkansas, a daughter of the late James Wesley and Dalene Iris Bostian Surratt. She attended and graduated from Plum Bayou School, and was employed as administrative office assistant at Vratsinas Construction Company. She was a member of the Church of Latter day Saints. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William E. (Billy Gene) Wilson. She is survived by her son, Wes Wilson (Christina) of Perryville, Arkansas; daughter Kristy Wilson-Leal (Frank) of Amarillo, Texas; four grandchildren Karen Wilson, Cole Wilson, Connor Wilson and Tara Long; one great-grandson, Stevie McNeely; two sisters, Cheryl Pahls (Wendell) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Iris Taggart (Frank) of Benton, Arkansas; one brother, Jimmy Surratt (Shirley) of Tucker, Arkansas; and a granddog, George the Westie. Donelle also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, all of whom adored her. Donelle loved bowling with her league at Maumelle, the Razorbacks, tailgating, and calling the Hogs with her friends. Her laugh, her zeal for life, and her playful spirit will be sorely missed. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas, (501) 224-8300. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012, at the funeral home, with Dick Pearson officiating. Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
