Vadena Lunsford

VADENA LUNSFORD, age 57, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012. She was born Dec. 25, 1954 in Denton, Texas, to Henry Worth Hinton and Mary Helen Hinton Carroll. She was a longtime member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church and was an employee for 39 years with AT&T, where she was a forecast manager. Vadena was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Arthula Blakley. She is survived by her husband, Albert "Dickie" Lunsford and her daughter, Dixon Lunsford of Little Rock; and three siblings, Valoise Moon of Victorville, Calif., David Hinton of Tulsa, Okla.; and Carol Hinton of Maumelle, Ark. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and lifelong friends. A service of resurrection and thanksgiving to God will be celebrated at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, Little Rock, Ark., Monday, Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, 4823 Woodlawn, Little Rock, Ark. 72205.
