Louis Harvey Ragan

LOUIS HARVEY RAGAN, age 85, of Little Rock, Ark. went to be with Jesus on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012. He was born on April 3, 1927, to his late parents Louis Thad and Frances Hunthrop Ragan. Louis was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Alexander, was retired from the United States Navy after 23 years of service and was also retired from AFCO Steel. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survivors include his two daughters, Janey Boyd (Eddie) of Cabot, Ark. and Jodie Mansfield (Gary) of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother Neal Ragan; one sister Ivon Jarvis of Redfield, Ark.; four granddaughters and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Sally Jo Ragan of 64 years, one son Johnnie Ragan, one brother T. L. Ragan and one sister Mary Jones. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at Crocketts Bluff Cemetery in Crocketts Bluff, Ark. with Rev. Dr. Sid Samples officiating and Navy Military Honors.
