Coverlyn Lea

Coverlyn Lea, 80, of Hot Springs, passed away December 16, 2012. She was born January 24, 1932 in Little Rock to Alford and Mary Lee (Christian) Neal. She retired from Little Rock Air Force Base. Coverlyn enjoyed traveling and experiencing life to the fullest. She spent each spring and summer gardening with her daughter, Sandy. She is predeceased by her parents and sister, Gladys O'Neal. Loving survivors include daughter, Sandy Fletcher, of Hot Springs; brother, Fred (Mary Helen) Neal, of Bryant; sister, Thelma Dunn, of Buckville; sister, Christine (Carroll) Posey, of Little Rock; sister, Irene Murry, of Little Rock; niece, Debby Bertolani, of Hot Springs; and her faithful companion of 13 years, Ginger, her beloved poodle. An open house in Coverlyn's honor will be staring at noon on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 242 Long Beach Terrace, Hot Springs, Arkansas. Guest register is www.caruth-hale.com.
