David Joseph Pruden, III

David Joseph Pruden, III, 47, of Grapevine, Arkansas was born June 6, 1965 at Little Rock, the son of David Joseph Pruden, Jr. and Patricia Hodkin Pruden. He was a Missionary Baptist, was a gunsmith, was owner of D.J.'s Gun Shop, had formerly worked for his father at Broadway Arms and enjoyed fishing. The greatest joy of David's life was his family. He was so proud to be "GOP" to his granddaughters. David had an infectious smile and touched many people with his kindness. David went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, near Sheridan. He was preceded in death by grandparents, David Pruden, Sr., Anne Pruden, and Morgan Hodkin and an uncle Phillip Hodkin. Survivors: wife, Julie Bradford Pruden; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Chris Ellis; granddaughters, Madison and Paisley Ellis all of Grapevine; parents, David Joseph Pruden, Jr. and Patricia Hodkin Pruden of Alexander; grandmother, Verna Faye Hodkin; sister and brother-in-law, Cherri and Dwight Mitchell of Greenbrier; father and mother-in-law, Bobby and Shelba Bradford of Grapevine; Brothers-in-law, John Robert "Bubba" Bradford and wife Kendra of Grapevine and Greg Bradford of Fayetteville; uncle, William Pruden of Alexander; as well as a host of other family members and friends. Funeral: 2 p.m., Friday, December 21, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial: Ain Cemetery.
