Hazel Creasey

Hazel Moore Creasey, age 92, went home to be with the Lord, Dec. 22, 2012. Hazel is survived by four grandchildren, Billy Ray Sherer, Pamela Kay Sherer Robinson, both of Cabot, Ark., Mary Mechele Creasey Norris of Gentry and Grady Vernon Creasey of Bentonville, Ark. Hazel is survived by nine great-grandchildren and her daughter-in-law, Darlene Green Creasey of Springdale, Ark. and family and a host of friends. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Grady V. Creasey and all four of her children, G.V. Creasey, Larry Dean Creasey, Mary Rebecca Sherer - Taylor, and Stanley N. Creasey and a grandson, Logan Marshall Norris. Hazel was a homemaker as well as rework operator at Franklin Electric for 24 years. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of Jacksonville where she had served as secretary of her class and on the hospitality committee. She was very hospitable and loved to entertain family and friends in her home. Her favorite past time was rocking four children, four grandchildren and all 10 of her great-grandchildren. Hazel had a smile and positive attitude for all who knew her. Our loss is Heaven's gain. We celebrated the life of this beloved woman of God in a memorial service at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. North Little Rock, Ark., on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 2 p.m. with Bro.
