Elizabeth Colleen Denson

Elizabeth Colleen Denson, age 63, of Carlisle went to be with her Lord and Savior June 24, 2012. She was born April 8, 1949 in Coffeville, Kansas. She is peceded in death by her parents, Troy and Naomi Denson, formerly of Carlisle; four sisters, Glenda Kay Denson, Barbara Gordon, Jo Newton and Peggy Ratliff; three brothers Troy Denson II, Buzz Denson and Billy Bayne. Her greatest love in this life was her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, friends and her loving companion Roxy her cat. She is survived by her children Troy Denson III and Cindy (Brian) Mahoney of Carlisle, Larry Joe Strickland of Jacksonville, and Leslie (Cole) Cullum of Conway; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; siblings, Tommy (Diane) Bayne and Melvin (Anita) Denson of Colorado, Bob (Paula) Denson of Oklahoma, Mickey Denson, Leslie Taylor, Jimmie Sue Townley and Roxie, all of Carlisle, Phyllis Willingham of Texas, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and life long friends. The family will receive friends and family from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 26 at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 27 at Immanuel Baptist Church, Carlisle with burial in Old Carlisle Cemetery. The family would like to say a special Thank You to Doctors and Nurses at Stuttgart Hospital, Golden Years Manor and Arkansas Hospice for the love and care they gave Colleen.
