Greg Newkirk

Greg Newkirk, 56, of Conway, passed away May 3, 2012. He was born December 7, 1955, in Little Rock, to Ward Newkirk and LaVern (Martin) Newkirk. He was an Air Force veteran, a graduate of UALR and was a computer programmer for Acxiom. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, was an avid sports fan and was of the Church of Christ faith. Greg was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and son. Greg is survived by his wife of 28 years, Barbara (Hudson) Newkirk; two daughters, Jennifer Newkirk Leath (Tommy) of Alexander and Brooke Partney (Jon) of Conway; a son, Grant Newkirk of Jonesboro; his mother, LaVern Newkirk of Conway; his father, Ward Newkirk of Little Rock; and three grandchildren, Blake Odom, Kaitlyn Richey and Collin Partney. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, in Conway. Greg's funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, May 7, 2012, in the Chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, in Conway. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
