John Dorsey

John Dorsey, age 90, of Little Rock, Arkansas died Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Woodland Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville. John was a Veteran of the United States Navy, was retired from the FAA as an Inspector after 36 years of service, was an avid fisherman and loved to travel. John was known as "Uncle Jack the Great" to all in his family. Survivors include his brother Fred Dorsey of Daniels, West Virginia and his loving companion Joy Altaras of Manchester, England and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Irene Dorsey of 51 years, brother James Dorsey and sister Nina Wilson. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Little Rock National Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Conger officiating.
