Annette W. McCaleb, 80, of Little Rock, passed away suddenly Saturday, May 19, 2012. Survivors: husband, John H. McCaleb; son, Jonathan McCaleb; daughters, Suzanna McCaleb Woodhead and Sarah Kaza and husband, Greg; grandchildren, Michael, Alexander, Phillip and Taylor Woodhead, and Natalya Kaza; sisters, Eva Baber and Martha Hampton of Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews. Annette was born in Kentucky in 1931, raised on a farm and was a University of Kentucky graduate with a biology degree. Annette married John in 1962. They operated McCaleb Enterprises, a small business in Landmark. Annette served on the Pulaski County Quorum Court (1989-2008). Her accomplishments included Baseline Road Health Clinic, Arch Street Pike Sheriff's Precinct and the Medical Waste Ordinance. Annette was a mother, independent businesswoman and public servant who was cherished by family and friends. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
