Bettie Jo Isbell

Bettie Jo (Wells) Isbell, 82, a resident of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born April 18, 1930, in Pine Bluff, she was a daughter of Richard and Helen White Wells. Mrs. Wells was reared and received her early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School. Betty Jo Wells married Sparks Isbell on January 26, 1951, in Stuttgart. She was a keypunch operator for Arkansas Power and Light. Mrs. Isbell was a member of Central Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Isbell was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband. Survivors include two daughters, Jovann Leek and Pam Tortorich of Little Rock; five grandsons, Derek Leek of Pine Bluff, Joseph Tortorich of St. Louis, Missouri, Jordan Tortorich of Iowa City, Iowa, Tyler Leek of Monticello, and A.C. Tortorich of Little Rock. The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012, at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Central Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dan Festa officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery by Ralph Robinson & Son.
