Carl F. Hoelzeman, 102, of Little Rock, died Monday, October 22. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Fredrich Hoelzeman, parents, Henry Hoelzeman and Mary Riedmueller Hoelzeman; sisters, Rose Hoelzeman, Carolyn Siebenmorgen and Ann DeLong, and a brother, George. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Carl was born in Morrilton on August 7, 1910. He served in World War II after the war began assisting an uncle in building houses in the Morrilton area. He began his own homebuilding business and built many hones in Little Rock. In his retirement years, he enjoyed woodworking projects and gardening and shared the results of both hobbies with friends and families. He was a member of Christ the King Church. A rosary and memorial service will be held Friday, October 26, at 7 p.m. at Christ the King Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 8 a.m., Saturday, October 27th with Msgr. Francis I Malone as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Christ the King Church, 4000 N. Rodney Parham Rd., Little Rock, Ark. 72212.
