Eva Mae Combs

Eva Mae Combs, age 91, passed away on Sept. 4th 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hamp S. Combs Jr. and a granddaughter, Vicki Lynn Combs, the daughter of James and Barbara Combs. In addition, she is survived by two sons; James & wife Barbara Combs of Bryant, Ark., Harold Dean & wife Frances Combs of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Pamela & husband Patrick Pendleton also from Houston; two brothers; Charles Shirey of Greenbrier Ark., A.J. Shirey of El Dorado; one sister, Alene Melton of Blanchard Springs, La.; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend an invitation to friends and family in "Celebrating Her Life" at College Avenue Church of Christ, 1817 North College Avenue, Saturday, October 27th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Memorial services will be held at Young's Chapel at 508 Champagnolle at 2 p.m. following the reception with Pastor David Virden officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in El Dorado under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. An online guest registry will be available at www.youngsfuneralhome.com.
