Fred Doyle Doster, age 86, of Monticello passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born October 16, 1926, to the late John Fred Doster and Beulah Gavin Doster. He was retired from AP&L (now Entergy) where he worked in Stuttgart and Pine Bluff before he was transferred to Monticello. Doyle was also a retired used car salesman, a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, a Mason and was a member of the Pauline Missionary Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jo Morrison Doster; his second wife, Ollie Faye Sanderlin Doster, and a son, Fredie Doster. Survivors include his daughter, Cathy Doster Montgomery and husband, Eddy of Little Rock; one sister, Sybil Black of Monticello; one brother, Donald Doster of Warren; one granddaughter, Meagan Montgomery of Little Rock; two grandsons, Matthew Montgomery of Tampa, Fla. and Cody Doster and wife, Lisa of Austin, Texas; two great grandsons, Rhone Kuta and Asher Kuta both of Little Rock; and one daughter-in-law, Linda Doster. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Union Cemetery at Rye with military honors.
