Gloria June Walthall

GLORIA JUNE (COX) WALTHALL, age 69, of Alexander, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at her home. She was born in Texarkana on Feb. 23, 1943 to the late Charles Cox and Ruth (Chapman) Cox. Mrs. Walthall was a homemaker, loved to sew, and read recipe books. She was of Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, one son, Jerry Walthall, and her brother, Mickey Cox. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, James E. Walthall of the home; one son, Mike Walthall and wife, Edwina of Alexander; daughter, Michelle Walthall of Alexander; two grandchildren, Krystin Gilbert and husband, Shane and Eric Walthall; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047). Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
