Mack King, loving husband and father, 63, went to be with his heavenly father on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. Visitation will be held Sunday Sept. 9, 2012 from 12 p.m.-1:45 p.m. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Miss. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012 at the funeral home with a 5 p.m. graveside service to follow at the Talbert Cemetery in Amite County. Mr. King was born on July 24, 1949 in Greenwood, Miss. and currently lived in Rankin County since 2004. He was a member of Pinelake Church in Brandon, Miss. Mr. King was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. King had an extensive career in the Banking Industry. A few of his banking positions included Trustmark Bank, Davenport Bank in Davenport, Iowa and Systematics Inc. in Little Rock, Ark. He was also a realtor for Century 21 Maselle and Associates, a builder and a CPA. One of Mack's greatest loves was riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He enjoyed many great rides with his riding buddy and brother Randy. He is survived by his wife, Janet King of Flowood; three children, Claire Wilkerson (Brad) of Cabot, Ark., Matthew King (Lindsey) of Tulsa, Okla. and Rachel King of Flowood; his father, Beacher King and wife Evelyn of Greenwood; one sister, Roseann "Rosie" King Metz (Steve) of Ridgeland; one brother, Randy King of Brandon; six grandchildren, Hunter Wilkerson, Ashlee Wilkerson, Ava Rose Wilkerson, Blake Wilkerson, Vance King, Willa King and a number of nieces, nephews and relatives. He is preceded in death by his mother, Wilna King. The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful and loving nursing staff at Baptist Medical Center.
