Bettye Lou Wade, 68 of Mabelvale, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 in Little Rock. She was born July 25, 1944 in Morton, AR to late John and Mary (Cain) Smith. Bettye is survived by her two daughters; Audra LaRue and husband John of Mabelvale, Crystal King and husband Lane of Mabelvale; four grandchildren: Jonathan Wade, Elijah, Gabe, and Zayley King; and step-granddaughter, Danielle King; one sister, Annie Sue Melvin of McCrory, Ark.; and a host of extended family and friends. Bettye was a generous, loving woman that lived a full life. She got no greater joy than spending time with her grandchildren. She was at every ball game and event they were involved in. Her passion was taking care of her family and she will be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Audie Eugene Wade; her parents; three brothers: Hershel, Thomas, and James Smith, two sisters; Fannie Mae Hilliard, and Mary Jane Smith. Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M., Friday, September 28, 2012 Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 224-8300 with Brother David Robinson officiating. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Wade, Jimmy Sorvillo, Allen Wilder, Michael Wade, Matt Pinkerton, and David Cox. Honorary Pallbearer will be Hayley Henjum.
