Jewell Elizabeth O'Connor

Jewell Elizabeth O'Connor was born in Hollister, Calif. on Feb. 23, 1924 and died on Sept. 21, 2012 in San Leandro, Calif. Julie was a wife, mother, grandmother, RN, avid gardener and loved the beach. Her adoring husband of 35 years preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by two children, Karen Weiler of Rogers, Ark. and Steve O'Connor of San Leandro, Calif.; a son-in-law, Mark Weiler and daughter-in-law, Trish O'Connor, four grandchildren, Kelly Weiler Nelson and Bill Weiler of Denver, Colo. and Carson and Kelsey O'Connor of San Leandro, Calif. She was expecting a first great-grandchild in January. There will be a family graveside ceremony on Thursday, Sept 27 and there will be a celebration of her life following.
