Ouida Burnham Casali, age 79, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Stonegate Health and Rehabilitation in Crossett, Arkansas. She was born December 21, 1933 in Lake Village, Arkansas to the late Roy Burnham and Sarah Buntin Burnham. Ouida worked for the Chicot County Sheriff Office. After retirement, she moved to Crossett to be near her grandchildren. Ouida's Pride and joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was known to everyone as "Nonie". She was also a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Ouida was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Casali, her parents, a brother; Roy Burnham Jr. Survivors are son, John Michael Casali and wife, Lisa of Lake Village, daughter, Angela Casali Harris of Crossett; two brothers, Bill Burnham and wife, Lena of Winona, Mississippi, and Edson Burnham and wife, Marilyn of La Porte, Texas; two sisters, Mary Ellen Floriani of Alameda, California, and Veda Tankersley of Crossett; and four grandchildren, Sarah Donald and, Heath Morgan both of Crossett, and Dylan Morgan of Monroe, Louisiana, Sharon Katelyn Casali of Lake Village, and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 5-6 p.m. with rosary starting at 6 p.m. at Bishop Funeral Home in Lake Village. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday December 3, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Father Theophilus Okpara as Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Isadore Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
