Phillip L. Cato

Phillip L. Cato 61, of Hope passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 in Hope, Arkansas. Phil was born February 20, 1952 in Hope, Arkansas to Lile and Margie Betts Cato. Phil was the founder and owner of About Vase in Little Rock, Arkansas and was known to have the "Midas Touch". Phil was also a graduate of Hope High School and The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Cato Banks. He is survived by his parents, Lile and Margie Cato of Hope, Arkansas and two nephews, Jason Banks and his children, Dylan and Keaton of Hope, Arkansas; Eric Banks and wife Michele of Tyler, Texas. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Scott Walters and Rev. David Porterfield officiating in the St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Hope, Arkansas.
