Mrs. CLARA MAE HANEY, 78, of Little Rock departed this life at home in the wee hours of the morning Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, embraced in the love of her family. She had been a home-healthcare provider herself for more than 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Haney; son, Albert Cross Jr.; and daughter, Kimberly Cooney. Left with cherished memories are her sons, Mark (Debbie) and Edward Earl Cross; daughter and care-giver, Carolyn Curenton (Elijah); 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services entrusted to Walton GateWay Funeral Chapel, "Where Caring and Quality Come First." A memorial service for Mrs, Haney will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at the funeral home, 2405 South Gaines in Little Rock, 376-7188.
