Margaret M. Sharp was born in Charleston Mo. on May 21, 1924, grew up in Hoxie Ark., and died Jan. 3, 2013, at Arkadelphia Baptist Hospital. She was homemaker and raised four rowdy kids. She loved us unconditionally, encouraging us to grow into the person he or she wanted, not the person she wanted us to be. Before retiring Mrs. Sharp worked for Green Thumb as an assistant to the librarian of Walnut Ridge Middle School. She was a world traveler and loved to dance. She was preceded in death by her parents; Raymond and Alice Diggs, brother Eddie Diggs (Margie of Hoxie), and one daughter, Sandra House. She is survived by sisters, Jean Little (Elbert) of Jonesboro and Helen Gullett of Springfield Mo., sons, Garry Suenkel (Vickie) of Knoxville, Tenn., Harold Suenkel Jr. (Diane) of Richmond, Texas., daughter, Alice Justus (Sammy) of Hot Springs Village, Ark..; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be at Lawrence Memorial Cemetery, Jan. 7, 2013, at 1 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Unit at Courtyard Gardens Health and Rehabilitation in Arkadelphia or the charity of your choice.
