Fred B. Foster

Fred B. Foster, 78, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013, at his home. The son of Fred E. Foster and Marion Louise Bottoms Foster, Fred was born May 24, 1934, in Camden, Arkansas, and was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 50 years, Carol Foster. Fred is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Debby & Neal Sutton of Texarkana, Texas, Donna & Doug Herring of Camden, Arkansas and Diane & John Kinley of Camden, Arkansas; and one son and daughter-in-law, Gary & Paula Bergstrom of Camden, Arkansas. "Pa" is survived by 13 grandchildren, Jay Sutton & fiance', Kim Davidson and Kevin Sutton of Texarkana, Texas, Brandon & Danna Vint, Lane & Brenna Kinley, Alex Peterson and Brock Herring of Camden, Arkansas, Jade & Cindy Herring of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Henley Bergstrom of Little Rock, Arkansas; as well as five great-grandchildren, Grace Vint, Dannon Vint, and Keaton Kinley of Camden and Caleb Herring and Aly Herring of Hot Springs, Arkansas. A life-long resident of Ouachita County, Fred liked nothing better than spending the day on the lake fishing or driving the boat with the kids in tow. "Granny and Pa" spent many days teaching anyone who wanted to fish, ski and swim. A graduate of the ONLY University to exist, Fred's love of the Hogs is a family tradition. Services for Mr. Foster will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Proctor Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Neal Sutton, Jay Sutton, Kevin Sutton, Brandon Vint, Lane Kinley, Doug Herring, Gary Bergstrom and John Kinley. Rev. Edgar N. (Eddie) Sutton will officiate.
