Selvin V. Rodger

Selvin V. Rodgers, 48, Little Rock, departed this life Sunday, January 6, 2013. He was born on June 9, 1964 in Marvell, Ar to the late Ora Lee Tate and Wilson Rodgers. Preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Terrikia Carter. He was employed as a custodian at Pulaski Heights Middle School with the Little Rock School District. Survivors, wife, Joyce Rodgers of Little Rock; three sons, Adrian (Deidre) Young, Milton (Bea) Carter Jr., and Selvin Rodgers, Jr., all of Little Rock; Two daughters, Ashante (Bennie) Carter Osler and Britannica Rodgers, both of Little Rock; two brothers, Lee Annias Tate of Marvell, Ark. and William (Lynn) Tate of Staten Island, New York; One sister, Lorie (Paul) Williams of Conway, Ark; five grandchildren. Funeral services 11 am Saturday, January 12, 2013, Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 8112 Bicentennial Road, North Little Rock, Ark. Visitation 6-7 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at funeral home.
