Mable Davis Cheatham

Mable Davis Cheatham, 96, of Smackover, Ark. formerly of the Village/Spotsville Community passed away on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013. She was born on Sept. 9, 1916, in Mt. Holly, Ark. to the late Kenny and Susie (Smith) Davis. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Loyce W. Cheatham; three brothers and two sisters. Mable is survived by her daughter Brenda Cheatham of Little Rock, Ark.; son Jerry Cheatham and wife Mary of Victoria, Texas; brother in law Lankford Cheatham and wife Lorene of Smackover; sister in law Judy Davis of Gonzales, La.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Maple Ave. Baptist Church in Smackover. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
