Debbie Myrick Perkins

Debbie Myrick Perkins , of Slidell, La., passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013 at her home. Beloved wife of Bob Perkins. Mother of Katie Perkins Rowley (husband Matt), and Kerri Perkins, both of Slidell. Daughter of John D. Myrick, Jr. and the late Maylene Myrick. Sister of Gary Myrick (wife Nancy) of Anchorage, Alaska. Also survived by six grandchildren; Joshua, Brooklynn, Jordan, Evelyn, Grace, and Robert. Age 61 years; a native of Little Rock, Ark. and a resident of Slidell, La. for the past 21 years. Mrs. Perkins was a Special Education Para-Professional for St. Tammany Parish School System. She was also a member of P.E.O. Chapter BJ of Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at First United Methodist Church, 433 Erlanger Dr., Slidell, La. 70458 on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at church from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive visitors at their home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. IIn lieu of the flowers, the family request donations to the building fund at First United Methodist Church, Slidell, La.
