James Kent Compton

James Kent "Jay" Compton, Jr., 34 of Conway, died Sunday, March 17, 2013. He was born December 8, 1978 in Russellville, Arkansas. Jay loved music and enjoyed playing many different instruments. He is survived by his wife, Julia Hadley Compton; daughter, Lyric Pepper of Conway; father, Ken Compton of Conway; mother, Rachel Bath of Houston, Texas; sisters, Lauren Compton of Conway; Christi Bath of Houston, Texas; maternal grandmother, Enedina Cortez; paternal grandparents, J.T. and Dr. Norma Compton of Morrilton; uncle and aunts, Kevin and Dana Compton of Little Rock; Kris and Debra Compton of Hendersonville, N.C.; numerous other family and friends. Family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013 with Memorial Services to follow at 1 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway.
