Maceo Culberson

MACEO CULBERSON was born in Little Rock, Ark. to Obron and Minnie Culberson on June 11, 1921. He went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 17, 2013. Maceo is preceded in death by both parents; his three wives, Ophelia, Bernice, and Leola; his brother, Obron Culberson Jr.; his sister, Leola; his daughter, Jeanette Martinez; and his two sons, Rick and Dwight. Maceo is survived by his sisters, Cleola Stevens and Ardell Coleman and brother-in-law, Harry Coleman; his sons, Maceo Culberson Jr., Maceo Eric Culberson, Maceo Wayne Brooks, Maurice (Vickie) Culberson, and Mark Cluberson; his daughters, Mildred (Michael) Wright, Beverly Carter, Allene Austin, Marilyn Wesley, Kathy (Zome) Christen, Rita Culberson; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his stepdaughters, Helen Mack and Beverly Hodge and stepson, Fred Hodge, and a host of other relatives. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday, First Baptist Church, 9th and Calhoun Streets, Little Rock. Family Hour: 6-8 p.m. Monday at the church.
