Steven James Robinson, 67, of Pine Bluff, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013. He was born August 3, 1946 in Pine Bluff, son of Juara Knight Robinson and Afton Cash Robinson. Mr. Robinson was reared and received his early education in White Hall, graduating from White Hall High School. He worked for Safeway for over 20 years before starting his own business. Steven owned and operated The Country Butcher in Pine Bluff for many years. Mr. Robinson was a member of Centennial Fellowship Church in White Hall, where he actively served as a Deacon. He was an avid deer hunter and member of Kissee Creek Deer Camp. He was preceded in death by his mother and son, Kevin Todd Robinson. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Crutchfield Robinson of Pine Bluff; son, David Robinson of Fayetteville; father, Juara Robinson of Pine Bluff; sister, Lynda Pirtle of Fort Worth, Texas, and mother-in-law, Geraldine Crutchfield of Pine Bluff. A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2013 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Pastor Dennis Owens officiating. Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Robinson's.
