William Ward

William "Bill" R. Ward, 73, of Benton, passed away Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013. He was born Aug. 17, 1940 in Minneapolis, Minn. to the late Waldron and Susie Ward. Mr. Ward was a manufacturing rep for John Stacks Agency for many years and then became owner of Surplus Sales in Benton. He was a Vietnam Air Force Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Shirley Ward; son, William Bryan Ward; two daughters, Karen S. Witham and Joyce West; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
