Benjamin Franklin Thurman

Benjamin Thurman was born on November 6, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois. On February 8, 2014, Ben went home to be with the Lord. Ben leaves his mother: Betty; his children: Benjamin, LaKesa (Brett) and Sylvia; grandchildren: Ashanti, Mauriceo and TeKeyah; his brothers: Jonathan Jr. (Dedra), Gregory (Jerlyn), Mark Cordell, and Rico (Shontel); his sisters: Patricia (Samuel), Loretta, Catherine, Stephanie (David), Audrey (Brian), Rachel, Shawaan, and Kesa (Ron); a very special aunt and uncle: Rosie and Larry Bobo; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Spirit of Truth Full Gospel Church, 345 West 95th St., Chicago, Ill. Burial will be at Mt.
