Marlene Audry Bird

Marlene Audry Bird, age 78, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014. She was born January 30, 1936 to the late Charles Hansen and Caroline Breitner. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by husband Clifford C. Bird. She is survived by her brother, Louie Hansen of Carpentersville, Ill., her son, Leroy M. Hansen of Hilliard, Ohio; granddaughter, Anna Marie and grandson Jeremiah John Hansen both from Virginia and eight great-grandchildren. Marlene will be missed by many friends in Cabot, Ark., Elgin, Ill. and Central South Carolina and wherever she spent time with people. Her faith kept her strong through her battle with three physical aliments. Even though we know she has physically lost that battle, she has gained her reward in Heaven. May God bless her and keep her, may He always shine His face upon her and may He grant us survivors His peace and hope of a future reunion with all of our loved ones.
