Clifford Moore

Clifford Lloyd Moore, 87, of Traskwood, passed away May 26, 2014. He was born January 24, 1927 in Traskwood to the late Ollie and Rose Mae Goodson-Moore. Clifford was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in W.W. II. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Leslie "Giggs" Moore, Norman Davis and his wife, Mona Moore. Clifford loved being outdoors; cutting and selling firewood, taking care of his farm animals, and watching Nascar. Survivors, sisters, Euna Mae Sampson and Drucilla Orlando, sons, Lloyd Mikel Moore, Kenney Joe Moore, Russell Owen Moore, and daughter, Lana Yvonne Taylor; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be missed by family and friends. Pallbearers will be David Blair, Stevie Blair, Elden Spear, Robert Witham, Kaleb Prothro, and Phillip Raper. Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10 a.m. Thursday with Bro. David Hunter officiating at Fairplay Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. before services at Fairplay Cemetery.
