Helen Marie (Stewart) Bartley

Helen Marie (Stewart) Bartley, 84, of Little Rock passed to her heavenly home Saturday, May 24, 2014. A native of Mt. Vernon, Ark. she was born on July 27, 1929 to the late Sam and Effie Stewart. She was a member of the Windsong Church of Christ in Maumelle and retired from AT&T. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Edgar Bartley; two grandsons, Chris Holyfield of Alexandria, Va. and Tyler Holyfield of St. Charles, Mo.; one brother, Robert G. Stewart of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Mary Harlan of Searcy and Kathy Gardner of Greenbrier; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Those preceding her in death include her parents; one daughter, Karen Sue Holyfield; two brothers, Joe Stewart and Jerry Stewart. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 29, 2014 with Brother John Gipson officiating at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211 (501) 224-8300.
