Henry Lee Jones, age 85, of Benton, formerly of Curtis, Ark., died Thursday, October 30, 2014. He was born August 1, 1929 in Clark County the son of Henry Jones and Marie Floyd Elrod. He retired as an electrician for Reynolds Metals after 35 years of dedicated service. He was a hard worker and deeply loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Bryant. While in Curtis, Henry served as Deacon at First Baptist Church of Curtis, Deacon at Park Hill Baptist and Second Baptist Church of Arkadelphia. He was preceded in death on July 18, 2014 by his wife Betty Sue Dixon Jones, also preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Lee Grant, and sister, Vester Mae Jones. Survivors include one son, Dr. Randy Jones and his wife Debbie; two daughters, Marcia Grant and husband Rev. Benny and Karen West and husband Charles all of Benton, seven grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Jeremy West, Brent Jones, Zoey Wells, Brian West, Bethany Petty, Britanni Keeton and 18 great-grandchildren, one sister Mildred Thomas of Maben, Miss., two brothers, Hesterly Jones of Hope and Clifford Jones of Phoenix, Ariz. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, November 2nd at Hurricane Lake Baptist Church in Bryant with Pastor Benny Grant and Brother Brian West officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday, November 1st at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
