Vernon Keith Watson

Vernon Keith Watson, 87, of Springdale, passed away Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Aug. 10, 1928 in Walters, Okla. to Lance Burton and Ila Mae Pittman Watson. Keith worked in the Oil Industry until retirement. He attended school in Velma, Okla. He graduated from Tranquility High School in California. He was a member of Cross Church Springdale. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Watson on Sept. 6, 2012; his parents; and one sister. Survivors include one sister, Norma Costello of Ontario, Ore.; one daughter, Tahwana Watson Gray of Tehachapi, Calif.; and one granddaughter, Chashana Hornberger of Bakersville, Calif. A memorial service will be Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Cross Church in Springdale. Online condolences may be left at www.siscofuneral.com.
