ROSELYN ANN ST. JOHN, 91, of Little Rock passed away Dec. 11, 2015. Roselyn Ann Knox was born April 29, 1924 in Little Rock to Raymond M and Lois Kirkland Knox. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne Earle St. John and son, Kevin Wayne St. John. She is survived by one daughter, Carol Young (Gus Bower) of Little Rock and one granddaughter, Katharine Elizabeth Young, of Beaverton, Ore. Roselyn was active in Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church from the age of two, and especially loved singing in the choir. During World War II, she met a soldier from Camp Robinson who had grown up singing in his church choir in Three Rivers Michigan. They married in a formal church wedding in 1946, and stayed in the Sanctuary Choir for over 40 years. After Wayne retired, they enjoyed traveling the world, and gardening together. When he died in 2001, Roselyn moved to Shepherd's Cove, then Foxridge-Chenal, making new friends in both places. In 2013, as her dementia progressed, she entered Presbyterian Village Health Care. The family would like to thank the staff at all three residential facilities for their outstanding care, as well as Arkansas Hospice and Alzheimer's Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Arkansas Hospice, Alzheimer's Arkansas, Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, or a charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church with a reception to follow. An online guestbook is available at www.griffinleggetthealeyroth.com.
