David T. McKinney

David T. McKinney, age 69, of Pine Bluff went to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Little Rock. He was born September 24, 1946 in Pine Bluff, Ark., to Edwin Teddy and Geraldine Thomason McKinney. On July 24, 1967, he married Ramona Tipps in McGehee, Ark. Mr. McKinney has been employed with First Arkansas Insurance since 1994. David was a member of First Baptist Church of Pine Bluff. He was a member of McKinney Hunting Club. David was preceded in death by his father, Teddy McKinney on October 25, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ramona Tipps McKinney of Pine Bluff; son, Jeff (Lynn) McKinney of Rison; daughter, Kristie (John) Moss of Conway; mother, Geraldine McKinney of Rison; grandchildren, Anna Grace McKinney, Emily Kate McKinney, Jackson Moss, Benton Moss; brother, Larry McKinney of Rison. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Pine Bluff with Brother Ken Thornton officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Rison. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. Pallbearers are Marion McCollum, Chuck Locke, Cliff Hopson, Robert Skip Henry, Carl Lucky, Lonnie McFarland, and Rodney Rodgers.
